Another photographer and I had a discussion recently about time lost behind the lens where everything, and I mean everything, falls away from perception except what's immediately focused on. We traded stories about close calls with cliffs, busy highways, and other people.
Time and light are what photography is all about. Whether you dwell in the timing of the waxing and waning day or choose a more serendipitous palette, time spent searching for the confluence of the two is a ticket to worlds where time is temporarily swept away.
Take the time.
